Add Delivery History

This procedure allows you to manually enter previous delivery history for selected tanks. This will provide the system with the information necessary to automatically route your deliveries.

NOTE: This ONLY applies if you use Degree Days or Degree Days and Gallons Per Day as your routing method. Entering delivery history is NOT necessary if you use Julian Dates, Interval, Driver Call, or Day of the Week type routing.

This same procedure is also used to change or delete delivery history keyed in previously.

From the Lynx Main Menu . . .

� Left-click on Delivery and a drop down menu will appear.

� Left-click on Add Delivery History.

� This will display the Add Delivery History window showing all of the tanks in the system for all customers sorted in account number sequence.

� Select the tank you want to add delivery history to by either:

1. Scrolling through the list using the scroll bar on the right. Or . . .

2. Positioning the cursor in the text box and keying in the account number for the tank.

� Once you've selected the tank, left-click the button.

� This will display a blank delivery history window that will be used to key in the history for the tank.

If you have already entered delivery history for this tank, it will show on this screen. If you want to change or delete any of it, simply position the cursor and make the appropriate changes.

� The cursor will be positioned in the "Last Delivery Date" text box. Enter the date of the last delivery and press the key. Enter the "Gallons on Last Delivery" and press the key again. Enter the "End % of Last Delivery".

� When you're done entering the information about the last delivery, press the key to go to the "2nd To Last Delivery Date".

� Keep repeating this process until you have entered AT LEAST four deliveries for this tank.

� When you're done, left-click the button, This will take you back to the the Add Delivery History window where you can select the next tank to add deliveries to.
