Important virus alert . . .

There's a new and very serious computer virus going around that you should know about. It's called "Goner" and shows up as an e-mail with "Hi" in the subject line.

We received this e-mail here at Columbus Systems. It looks like this:

The virus is activated if you open the attachment to the e-mail. SO DON'T OPEN IT.

Instead, delete it IMMEDIATELY !

If you do happen to open it, the virus will destroy any anti virus programs and firewalls on your system. It also makes you vulnerable to other viruses as well as hackers. In addition, it sends itself to everyone else in your Address Book.

If this happens to you, there is anti-virus software to fix the problem available on the Internet from McAfee and Symantec (and others).

Better yet, see your local computer guru and have it taken care of.
