Budget Letter change . . .
Previously, when you printed the budget letters the system would automatically insert text that said " Budget payments should be received by the last day of the month. Please allow a few days for the mail." If this is OK, don't do anything and this message will continue to appear.
However, if you want to insert your own wording in the letter, go to Company Preferences under "More Preferences" and (near the bottom) key in whatever text you want to use.
New Security Feature . . .
A new feature has been added to the system that allows you to restrict access to any batches that have been posted. Go to Company Preferences under "More Preferences" and (at the bottom of the window), left-click the 
button. From here you will be asked to enter a "Security Password". You must call Columbus Systems at 360-943-4165 to get this. After that, you can set up any password you want. The effect of this will be that, unless you know the password, you will not be able to reverse and open posted batches.
Latest Version of Lynx . . .
The latest version of the Lynx software is 7.7.50.97and is now available from our website www.LynxPropaneSoftware.com.
This is the first general release of the system using release 5.0 of the BDE. Those of you who received the BDE update CD should make sure it is loaded on all of your computers that are running Lynx (if you haven't done so already). If you did not receive the CD, you're OK.
Latest Version of the Lynx Help System . . .
The latest version of the PROPANE 98 Help system is 4.33 and is also available from the same site www.LynxPropaneSoftware.com. Remember, this is a separate download from the Lynx software itself. To get both, you need two downloads.
