New Feature . . .

Have you ever needed to find a transaction or a payment but you're not sure exactly where it's at? Maybe all you know is the date it happened or maybe only the amount involved.

Now there's a quick and easy way to do this. From the Main Menu under Bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable, and then Invoicing, select Find a Transaction or Payment . . . it's at the bottom of the drop-down list. Use the radio buttons to select the type of data you're after (date, period, description, account number, payment reference, invoice number, total, discount, payment amount, or batch number). Then key in the specific thing you're looking for and press "Begin Search". All of the transactions that match your criteria will be displayed in the grid below. Pretty slick actually when you're looking for some elusive transaction.

Changes to the Lynx Help System . . .

Over the years, the Lynx Help System has grown to over 1,000 topics, over 1,400 bitmap pictures, and over 1,300 key words. In fact, it's now larger than the Lynx system itself. One of the problems with this is that the time it takes to download new versions from our web site on the Internet has also increased. To ease this situation, we have made some significant changes that have decreased the size of the Help System resulting in download time improvements of 15 to 20 percent. By the way, you won't notice any changes in how the Help System looks or works . . . it's just smaller.
