A number of enhancements have been added to the Lynx software. Included are . . .
Gas Check Notes . . .
You can now add descriptive notes to each Gas Check. Go to the "Gas Check" tab for any tank on an account. Scroll to the right to see the area for entering these notes.
Running Balances . . .
A "Running Balance" column has been added to the far right of the ledger window for Balance Forward accounts. This does not apply to Open Item type accounts.
Notes on an account . . .
How do you know if there are notes on an account? In the past you had to go and look for them. A new feature has been added that makes this much easier. Now, if there are any notes attached to an account, you will see an asterisk on the NOTES tab for the account.

Tips, Tricks, and Shortcuts . . .
A new topic has been added to the Help System called "Tips, Tricks, and Shortcuts". Make sure you have release 4.14 (or later) of the Help System. Then, under the Index tab, key in either "Tips" or "Tricks" or "Shortcuts" to display it. Included are lot of features that make the system easier to use. Check these out . . . you can probably use them every day.
Latest versions . . .
New copies of the Lynx software and the Lynx Help System can be directly downloaded from our web site www.LynxPropaneSoftware.com.
The latest version of Lynx is 7.7.50.31
The latest version of the Lynx Help System is 4.14
If you don't have these versions, it's probably a good idea to download them to get all of the latest goodies.
